Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC)
e-Filing
Beginning July 8, 2026, the consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) will require importers to electronically file Children’s Product Certificates (CPCs) and General Certificates of Conformity (GCCs) directly into CBP’s ACE system—at the time of entry, not upon request. This shift to mandatory e-Filing will fundamentally change how regulated consumer products move through U.S. Customs, with new data requirements, tighter timelines, and real risk of delays or holds for unprepared importers.
