The NY & NJ Port Authority has released a winter weather advisory announcing that all New York and New Jersey marine terminals will close today, Monday, January 26, by 3:00 PM and remain closed Tuesday, January 27, in anticipation of winter storm Juno.  The port will make an announcement about port operations for Wednesday, January 28, by noon on Tuesday.

Snow accumulation is predicted to exceed two feet at the port and surrounding areas, in combination with gale force winds. Free time will be extended with pier diem being waived based on the port’s Winter Weather Plan guidelines.

Air cargo carriers have also announced delays or disruptions of service pending weather condition evaluations to and from Newark Liberty Airport (EWR), John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK), and LaGuardia Airport (LGA).

Philadelphia’s Packer Avenue Marine terminal announced a Tuesday closing for inclement weather as well.

We will continue to closely monitor the situation and advise you of any important updates.
